Counselor
The recruiters chatted about the company, the program, and what the job entails. They also asked some scenario-based questions. They'll inquire about your past experience and are open to any questions you might have.
- What makes you want this job?
- Tell me about your past work.
- What would you do in this situation?
Intake Worker
I had a phone interview with the director of the juvenile delinquents program. She explained what the program does and asked about my work history and qualifications. She also asked about my long-term career goals. After I told her my salary expectations, she said she would check other departments for openings and suggested I apply for managerial and administrative roles since she thought I was qualified.
- What were your salary expectations?
Peer Support Specialist
I sent in my online application with my resume. Then I sent a letter of interest to my supervisor because of the agency policy on promotions. Then I was interviewed by a panel of two people. The interview was performance-based.
- Is your Florida Certification Board certificate current?
- Do you have reliable transportation?
- Do you know how to use a database?
Administrative Specialist
I got a call for an interview. After that, HR contacted me about a drug screen and background check. It took about two weeks for the background check to clear, and then I was informed about the start date for orientation.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What do you consider your strengths to be?
