First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at D1 Training.
Marketing Coordinator
I had about 3 to 4 rounds of interviews, spaced out over several weeks. One of those interviews was in person, and I also had to complete some projects. It was a good experience getting to know the employees and the team during this time.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Head Coach
It was ineffective. I went through 4 total video interviews with 3 different people. They asked the same basic questions every company asks and didn't get into the specifics of the role. It also took them 3 weeks to send a generic decline email instead of calling me.
- Tell me about community.
- Tell me about giving back.
- Tell me about honesty.
Performance Coach
This was the most unprofessional interview experience. The owner, Kevin, forgot about our scheduled interview and I had to be rescheduled for the following week. During the rescheduled interview, his phone rang and he took a 5-minute personal call about his car before ending the interview shortly after. They never contacted me again.
- What makes you want to join our company?
Receptionist
It was a brief interview, lasting about 20 minutes. They asked some broad questions about my experience and skills. I was also asked about my understanding of the industry and how I could contribute more.
- Can you tell me about your experience as a receptionist?
- What is your understanding of this industry?
- In what ways can you contribute to this industry?
