My first interview was with HR over the phone, they found my resume from a job board and called me on short notice because it was the last day for the first round. The first interview was with the manager and lasted about 30 minutes. They asked general questions about my goals, education, and personality. About an hour after I left, I was asked back for a second interview later that week. The second interview was about 3 hours long and included another candidate. Each of us was asked resume details, and we were taken to lunch where they discussed the job details and salary. After the interview, I was given a short survey to write down definitions discussed during the interview. The process was fast and courteous, but the job description wasn't clear until the second interview. The job involves long hours, weekends, door-to-door sales, and a commission-based salary. Higher pay is promised with promotions but the timeline seems tough.

The interview process moved fast. HR director called me a day after I applied on careerbuilder.com to set up an interview. The first one was easy, not tough questions, and it was a fun vibe. It was a quick 20-minute one-on-one to get to know me. They asked about my strengths, my 5-10 year plan, what I'd bring to the company, my biggest weakness, and more. I got invited back for the second interview the next day, which lasted about 3 hours. I had lunch with a Jr Consultant and learned the job was door-to-door sales for entry level and jr. consultant roles, but after that, it moved into the office. She asked me simple questions about myself and my background. Then, I went back for a final interview in the office where they asked basic questions about me. I got offered the job that same night. It was a good experience meeting everyone and I liked the company culture, but the job itself wasn't for me.

I applied online and then spoke with an HR person about my qualifications. After that, I had a formal interview with the manager, which was one of three interviews for the role. There were other people waiting to interview too, so it seemed like a popular position. I went on to complete the other two interviews, one with an assistant manager and another with the manager. Everyone was pretty nice, serious but friendly.

So this job is called a Junior Consultant, but it's not really a trainee thing. First, there was an interview with a manager where they asked pretty standard stuff about my past experience and career goals. The next interview was way longer. They wanted to know how familiar I am with different marketing types, and they also went over how the pay and career progression works. Heads up, the first part is 100% commission, and you don't really make money until you finish a bunch of training. Also, the hours are kind of rough: 11 am to 8 pm on weekdays and 11 am to 7 pm on Saturdays.
