First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at D'Youville University.
Project Administrator
The interview was a Zoom call. The two interviewers seemed unprepared, they were fiddling with equipment and I felt like I was talking to myself. They asked if I was interested in another role they had open earlier in the year and then ghosted me. Super unprofessional.
- What makes you want to interview for this role?
Director of Marketing and Brand Management
The interview process was creative and they gave me the info they wanted beforehand, which was helpful for prep. They also kept to their schedule throughout, which was good because sometimes companies leave you hanging.
- Can you describe your approach to building consensus within a team?
Administration Assistant
So, the interview process was a bit different, it was a one-way thing where I had to answer questions and I could re-record them if I wasn't happy with my first answer. I'm not totally sure if this is how they do it for all jobs or just some departments.
- What is your understanding of this school?
Career Coach
It was a really disorganized and quick interview process. They reached out to me and scheduled a video interview for the same day. It felt like they were really eager to hire someone fast.
- What are your career aspirations?
