Behavioral Technical Case

Got a video interview one week after application. The interview time was postponed twice. The initial interview took 45 minutes with the hiring managers, all behavioral questions. From the recruiter, if the 1-round is passed, there will be one interview with a team member, one take-home case study, and 1-2 final interviews. The whole process should take a few months.

Case Behavioral

I went through a total of 7 interviews, and one of them was a case interview. The people I spoke with were mostly nice and knew their stuff. However, there was zero communication about who would be interviewing me or what to expect next. The whole thing dragged on for more than 3 months, and the timeline felt really messy, like they didn't have a plan. Then, after all that, they took weeks to get back to me, and finally decided to reject me AFTER they had already checked my references. Overall, it was super unorganized and just not a good experience.

It was a 1-hour webcast interview with some general questions. Then, a 2.5-hour interview where I spoke with multiple interviewers about how I'd handle various problems that come up on the job, and my understanding of different trading structures for a hedge fund.
