It wasn't a terrible interview process, but it wasn't a great one either. It was quite long, and they gave very little information about what to expect in each stage or how many stages there would be. I spoke with 6 people, though I think there were supposed to be 8-10 in total. It turned out to be much less technical than I anticipated. Everyone I met was friendly, but no one seemed to have concrete details about the job itself.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?

I had several one-on-one chats with people who currently work there. They wanted to hear about my background, and some asked basic probability questions. The vibe was good, and I felt they were rooting for me. Finally, there was a 60-minute math test on paper that was a bit unclear in its instructions. I think they felt a bit bad about that, but I didn't manage to solve it well.

Analyst
The interview process included one video interview focusing on behavioral questions, one case study, and two back-to-back interviews that covered both behavioral questions and the case study. Despite the email stating they were behavioral interviews, they didn't really feel like it. For the case study interview, the interviewer seemed quite tired and didn't engage in much discussion as I had anticipated. It felt more like they were pulling questions from a pre-made list.
