D'Artagnan Interview Questions
& Process

It's a really long interview process, but honestly, it's not like more interviews means better quality. You talk to a bunch of people who probably never did your job and you'd never report to them anyway. It's an old way the company does things and it should've stopped ages ago. They're busy and just want it done, so they ask the same old questions.

First week was a phone call to set up a phone screen with the hiring manager. Second week, I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager, an HR rep, and the person who previously held the position. The third week, I met with the President. The fourth week, I followed up but received no response, despite having an in-depth conversation with the hiring manager where my background was a perfect match. The president seems to have the final say, but appears out of touch with the technical aspects of the job to know who they want to hire. I was capable of doing this job without any supervision, and everyone saw that except him. Everyone else I met was wonderful. It's a waste of time to invest in a hiring process where the president is clueless about the job's technicalities. The HR rep made it clear it's a very lean environment.

Got a call from HR and set up an interview pretty quick, like within two days. First, I talked with HR, who was super nice and helped me relax. Then I met with the Credit Department Manager, who also seemed pretty chill. It was mostly standard interview stuff, like asking about my past experience and what my goals are. They called me the next day with a job offer, and I accepted.

Had a good phone call that led to a follow-up interview. Then, I had a second interview with the CFO which went well. After that, I followed up with the team, but I got no response. The D'Artagnan team didn't bother to get back to me after I called twice for an update.
