It was an in-person group interview with the team. We did introductions, gathered some information, had some small talk, and a quick Q&A. The whole thing was pretty straightforward and nice. That was it, no other interviews.

The interview process had 4 stages, with each stage involving a different interviewer. Initially, I spoke with a lab manager who was looking to fill this role. Then, I had a conversation with another manager who also had an open position. The third stage was a panel interview where I met with about 4-5 people who held the same title, Development Associate. Finally, the last interview was with the head of the department. All of these interviews took place in a conference room. The interview environment felt very comfortable, and all the interviewers were genuinely kind. They had my resume and used it to guide their questions about my past experiences and research. I haven't heard back about whether I got the position, and it's been about two months. I really wish they would have sent an email to let me know if the role has been filled. The interview itself went great, and I left feeling confident about my candidacy.

A recruiter reached out to set up interviews. On-site interviews were required, as they don't support remote work. The hiring manager and HR seemed friendly. The interview process is quite long, with about two weeks between interviews. They didn't ask for any take-home assignments or technical tests, which was a relief. Salary details weren't provided upfront, so be prepared for a low offer. It took them nearly two weeks to send a rejection email, likely because I was a backup candidate. However, they did communicate the decision.

It was a pretty standard format. HR gave me the wrong address, so I was late. I met with two supervisors and the hiring manager. They were all professional and pretty open about the job, the work environment, and the company culture.
