Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had a really bad time interviewing with Cytiva. I went through four panel interviews and at first, I thought the hiring team was great. But after the interviews, their communication was super unprofessional and frustrating. I didn't get any updates on time even after following up multiple times. They kept saying they'd update me but never did, and it felt like they just ignored me. I finally heard back five weeks after my last interview, even though their website said 10 to 15 days. When the recruiter called, I missed the first call and tried to call back right away. I called several times, emailed my availability, and followed up again, but still no response. When we finally talked, it was super short, less than a minute, and they just said they hired someone else, no feedback at all. It really made me feel disrespected and let down. Their lack of professionalism and communication really changed how I see the company.

Technical Behavioral

I went through Cytiva’s full interview process for a Senior Lead Business Intelligence role — HR, technical, two BI directors, and a Global BI Lead. After passing all rounds, HR told me they wanted to offer me the position, pending a legal review of my work eligibility in Poland. I immediately provided all requested documents, yet for the next 1.5 months I was strung along with excuses that their lawyers were “still reviewing” my case. From my own immigration lawyer’s perspective, the process was simple and straightforward, but Cytiva continuously delayed and failed to provide clear answers. At one point, they even indicated that if things took too long, they might move forward with another candidate — after already telling me I had the offer. That was the first red flag. The final straw was when they asked for a call to “provide more details,” but when I followed up after a brief delay due to illness, they completely disappeared. No call. No rejection. Not even a generic update. Just silence. For a global company, this behavior is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Candidates invest significant time and energy into these processes, and leaving someone hanging without closure after months of interviews shows a lack of respect. It is also misleading to extend a verbal offer and then vanish without any communication. If you’re considering applying here, be prepared for a drawn-out, disorganized, and discourteous process. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Cytiva as a professional or respectful employer.

Technical Behavioral

I went through Cytiva’s full interview process for a Senior Lead Business Intelligence role, starting with HR, then a technical interview, followed by interviews with two BI directors and a Global BI Lead. After I passed all these stages, HR confirmed they intended to offer me the job, pending a review of my work eligibility in Poland by their legal team. I promptly submitted all the necessary documents, but for the next 1.5 months, I was given various excuses about their lawyers 'still reviewing' my case. My own immigration lawyer confirmed the process was simple and direct, yet Cytiva consistently delayed and avoided providing clear information. At one point, they even suggested they might proceed with another candidate if the review took too long, despite having already indicated I had the offer. This was the first warning sign. The final issue arose when they requested a call to 'provide more details,' but after I followed up following a brief delay due to illness, they completely stopped communicating. No call happened, no rejection was issued, not even a standard update was provided. Just silence. For a company of this size, this conduct is unacceptable and unprofessional. Candidates put a lot of time and effort into these processes, and leaving someone in limbo without resolution after months of interviews shows a lack of respect. It's also misleading to extend a verbal offer and then disappear without any contact. If you're thinking about applying here, be ready for a long, disorganized, and disrespectful process. Based on what happened, I cannot endorse Cytiva as a professional or respectful employer.

Behavioral Technical

It was a really organized process, they were quick to respond and showed they valued me as a candidate. There were 3 stages in total, all online. They consistently provided feedback after each stage. I had an HR point of contact, and I interviewed with HR, the hiring manager, and a manager from another department. Each interview was about 45 minutes long.
