First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cypress Bay Solutions.
Sales Representative
I had 2 phone interviews and a Skype training session. They sent me all the paperwork online and also overnight delivered everything I needed to start working. Once I finished it all, I got the job.
- How comfortable are you with B2B sales?
Sales Contractor
It was a quick phone call. I'm not sure if it was from Glassdoor, I think it was an employment agency in the Hartford, CT area, but I could be wrong. Anyway, it was a short interview and then a 5-6 hour training session over the phone/webinar.
- Do you have any experience?
Sales and Marketing
First, a recruiter calls to discuss the job, expectations, and review your resume. Then, they mention they will consult with one of the 21 managers or team leaders. If interested, they'll call back. The same recruiter then calls back with a manager and informs you whether you're hired. In this case, they were impressed and offered the job. They required a recorded acceptance, which felt a bit unusual but understandable given the times. They then proceeded with a scripted offer acceptance. Following this, a webinar is scheduled for the next day, from 11 AM to 4 PM Eastern Time. You'll receive a follow-up call to confirm three things: 1. Do you have reliable transportation? 2. Can you access the internet and phone for the webinar? 3. Are you available to start the day after training? A call confirmed these details, and you were welcomed to the team. They re-explained it's a commission-based role with bonuses and that an email would follow with login details for the webinar. The email confirmed the webinar time, but listed it as 11 AM to 5 PM, potentially causing a schedule conflict. The email also mentioned accessing the webinar via a Google Play app. You plan to download it to see how it works. You'll provide an update after the webinar and your first day.

Sales Representative
They looked at my resume and then gave me a call to see if I was a good fit. After that, I was set up for a webinar and was in a training class for the entire day. It was a good experience overall.
