The hiring process was really unprofessional. The interviews themselves were easy, and I did get an offer. However, the salary they offered was way too low considering my experience. I asked if I could discuss the salary with my future boss, mentioning my years of experience and what I could bring to the team. She said she'd check. Then, I got an email saying my offer was rescinded. I've never experienced such unprofessional behavior. Negotiating salary is normal, and I've never had a company withdraw an offer just for asking about negotiation possibilities. I'm actually glad I didn't end up working there because it seems like a toxic place that exploits its workers. Seriously, don't join this company, they don't value their employees.

This was the strangest in-person interview I've ever had. It seemed like the interviewers forgot it was happening. They didn't discuss job responsibilities at all, mostly talking about how fast-paced and 'ER-like' the team was, which is pretty standard for marketing, so I thought it was odd they focused on these negative parts instead of the actual job projects. The people were nice, but it felt unprofessional. I could tell they had already made up their minds, and I wasn't getting the job. Honestly, after that experience, I feel like I dodged a bullet.

I went through a two-interview process at Cymbiotika. Each interview was with a different interviewer, and I found them both to be very inviting, warm, and genuinely interested in getting to know me. They delved into my professional background, my personality, and explored whether the company's values aligned with my personal goals. I enjoyed that the interviewers demonstrated an interest not only in assessing my capabilities for the role but also in determining my compatibility with the company culture. This was refreshing and indicative of a company that values its employees holistically.

We started with a take-home assignment made just for you, considering your interests and experience. After you finished that, we had a bunch of interviews with senior designers and engineers. This was to see your technical skills, how you solve problems, and how well you work with others. We looked at both the assignment and the interviews to hire the best person for our team.
