The interview process included a few initial individual phone interviews, a writing sample portion, a longer panel interview, and finally providing references. Although the process involved several steps, the team was really communicative and ensured that everything went smoothly and timely. Everyone who I spoke with was very friendly and it was evident that they were engaged with the mission of Cybrary.

It was a relaxed chat about my interests and what I'm good at to see where I could fit in. Since the startup is growing, I had options.

This job is posted repeatedly by Cybrary, and after a phone screen, I see why. I talked to their recruitment rep, and everything was confirmed. They're pushing employees back into the office before the COVID vaccine is widely available. If you're cautious about remote work, this isn't the place for you. Companies that aren't telework-friendly often micromanage. The rep made it clear Cybrary is strongly against telework. It also became clear this role is more of a sales position than a retention-focused one, which is a common mistake companies make with this role. The pay was very entry-level. They asked situational questions during the phone screen, which is odd as they should focus on work experience. The questions didn't make sense and weren't relevant. It wasn't a good fit culturally or operationally, so I withdrew. They have a bad perspective on the role and the current workplace.

It was a really laid-back and chill interview, and they were super flexible. Because the job was remote, they made the whole process super easy and worked with my schedule. All in all, it was a great experience, and I'd totally suggest it.
