Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a really long interview process, about two months in total. Started with a phone call from the Talent Acquisition Manager, then a phone interview with the Senior Manager a week later. Two days after that, I had another phone interview with the VP of Security Services. After that, I had a technical challenge to complete, which took a few days. Once I finished that, I had to prepare a presentation on what I learned from the challenge. The Senior Manager liked my skills, but unfortunately, I didn't get the job. I had to follow up with the Talent Manager for over four weeks, and they weren't very responsive. I thought that was the end, but then I waited a whole month for a final in-person interview that never happened. In the end, they told me they chose another candidate. It was a shame because I really wanted the job. Cyberark should really speed up their hiring process.

First, you'll have an interview with HR who wants to get a basic rundown of your background and expertise. They'll ask some really basic Info-Sec questions, nothing too difficult since HR is administering it. If you pass that initial screening, someone from the Professional Services team will reach out about a technical interview/challenge. This is the fun, challenging part. You'll be given the actual software modules to install in a virtual lab at home or hosted online, and you'll get all the docs you need. This is a good test of your knowledge and how you adapt, plus it's good prep for the job since you'll be doing a lot of independent learning. If you pass the tech challenge, you're in.

Behavioral Technical Case

An external headhunter initially reached out. Then, I had remote interviews with the Sales Manager, SE Manager, and a senior CyberArk manager who isn't in the direct management chain for this role. After that, I had in-person interviews with the Sales Manager and the VP of the East region, which included a social lunch. The last step was a phone interview with the VP of the Americas.
