Product Owner
The interview process involved 2 phone interviews and then an inperson meeting, and the whole thing happened in less than 72 hours. It was a really fast and effective process. I was really impressed with how quickly they moved and how committed they were to hiring. It felt like I already knew the job from how smooth it went. It's a great place to work. The founders are super nice, motivated, and smart people with a lot to teach.

Office Manager
I had an initial phone interview that was pretty easy and straightforward, where we both learned more about the company and each other. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview that was surprisingly short, only about 10 minutes. The hiring manager seemed to be in a rush. I was told I'd have a second interview the following week to meet my potential close colleagues. However, what I was told didn't happen. After a few days of no contact, I finally heard back on Monday from my original contact, who said they'd discuss it with the hiring manager. The next day, I was informed they wouldn't be proceeding with a second interview because I lacked advertising experience, which was never mentioned as a requirement and wasn't in the job description. This is especially odd since both my contacts also had no prior advertising experience at Cybba. Needless to say, I won't be wasting my time with this company again.
- Can you explain your career path from your degree to your current experience?
Sales
The initial interactions with the recruiter, admin, CEO, and sales team were great; they were really attentive and friendly, making me feel positive about the company. I was excited to think of this as a potential work home. However, after what I thought was the end of the interview process, I was invited to lunch to discuss the role. When I got there, it turned into another 3.5-hour block of interviews without any heads-up. While I was annoyed (and hungry) about the unexpected change, I went along with it. That's when things felt off. The Chief Strategy Officer didn't just question me, they interrogated me, twisting questions about my background and demanding I prove every single detail on my resume. The questions felt manipulative, and they'd bring things up out of context, like they were trying to catch me in a lie. I had been honest about everything – my accomplishments, even my mistakes and what I learned. So, being interrogated like that was really off-putting. Then, my references told me they were asked similarly uncomfortable and interrogating questions. I started to feel really uneasy and worried it might have affected how my colleagues felt about my referral request. It made me wonder, if this is the pressure before I even get an offer, what kind of micromanagement would I face as an employee? After discussing my concerns with my family, I decided to withdraw my application. I'd also researched the company and found some concerning negative information, which now makes sense and explains why I had reservations.
- Be prepared for questions that are taken out of context and framed negatively.
Analyst
The HR person was great, one of the best recruiters I've spoken with. However, the subsequent interview didn't really allow me to show my skills or experience. It involved too many people, and in the 30 minutes, I barely got to answer questions because others were dominating the conversation. You might consider revising your interview approach.
