It was a quick process with 3-4 stages, starting with phone screenings and then some zooms. A lot of people were involved. I used my recruiter a lot for questions and to make sure I was prepared. They didn't get back to me at the end though.

I was contacted on LinkedIn by a recruiter named Sarah from ISGF. The first call was a sales pitch about Cvent and her recruiting firm. After that, I got advice on how to adjust my resume and get ready for the interview with Cvent HR. I spent a lot of time on that. The call with Cvent HR seemed good and lasted a while. They said I'd hear from the hiring manager soon. Sarah gave me positive feedback a few days later on Friday. I left a voicemail for Sarah on Monday to set up the next call. The next day, I got a fake-sounding email saying things had changed and Cvent was moving on with someone else. I think the other reviews about Cvent are true.

So, if a recruiter calls you up, they'll usually ask you about your background, like your education, work history, and what you're passionate about. If you apply online for Cvent, expect to be contacted by both phone and email. The interview process itself was pretty straightforward: First, there was a phone interview with the Sales Operations Lead or Supervisor. Then, I had a panel interview with a bunch of managers from the Sales Division. They usually get back to you with an official offer in less than a week.
