First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Curtiss-Wright.
Software Engineer
It was pretty technical. I first had to write a small program before the interview. Then, we went over my resume and I explained the program I wrote. Finally, I had to add to the code I wrote while they asked me more technical questions.
- Besides using the system time, what are alternative methods for seeding the random function in C?
Senior Software Engineer
It was a very methodical process that required a lot of effort. The questions felt like an interrogation, like being water boarded with hot lights. If you like that kind of intense interview style, this is for you.
- Will you work overtime without extra pay because you are an exempt employee?
Software Engineer Intern
It was pretty chill. I was interviewed by a panel of two people. One was my potential supervisor, and the other handled the more technical parts of the interview.
- Given a code sample, what would happen if certain parts of it were changed?
