Started with a quick call with HR to chat about my background and why I'm interested, then had a Zoom chat with the marketing manager to go more in-depth on my experience, skills, and if I'd be a good fit.

First, there was a phone interview for initial screening, where they asked about my previous job, why they should hire me, and why I'm a perfect candidate. Then, there was an in-person interview. Mostly, we discussed my resume and how my past experiences align with this role. They also asked about my experience with analytical tools and some behavioral questions, like what project I'd love working on. They also asked what my family and friends would say to describe me in three words. The people were really nice and humble. They were very open and honest about the company and what to expect in this role.

There were 3 rounds of interviews, but if you count the initial recruiter chat, it's 4. First up was a brief call with HR to go over my past work and if I knew the design tools and skills needed for the job. After that, I had two Zoom interviews with the Art Director and some leaders, which involved doing and showing off a design project (which was unpaid).

I was scheduled for an interview but the HR Generalist had a scheduling conflict, so they couldn't make the call. We rescheduled for two days later, but then they canceled two hours beforehand. They said the hiring manager decided to promote someone internally. It's kind of unorganized and disrespectful of my time, especially since I prepared for it, and the job is still posted online after three weeks.
