It was a pretty standard interview process. I had a phone screen first, then two in-person interviews. They extended an offer for a Director position, which I was happy about. I met the CEO and a VP, and they both seemed professional and supportive. But, about 5 days after they gave me the written offer, CuraLinc took it back, saying it was due to 'forecasted business needs.' They told me it wasn't about my performance, just their business outlook. This really messed things up for me because I'd already quit my job and was left without work or income for a while. It was also embarrassing telling colleagues I was leaving when I couldn't say where I was going. My advice to other candidates is to be very careful interviewing with CuraLinc. They seem unsure of their strategy and don't seem to care if their decisions negatively impact people's lives while they figure it out. Watch out for getting stuck in that situation.

The first interview was with a recruiter. It was pretty standard, they asked me to go over my resume, asked some screening questions, and talked about salary expectations. I was told there would be three interview rounds total, and the second would be more in-depth screening questions. They said they'd get back to me by the end of the day to schedule the second interview, but they never did. It's a bummer because if you're not moving forward, you should at least let the candidate know instead of saying you'll schedule something and then ghosting. Wouldn't want to work for a company that doesn't follow through on their word.

Behavioral Presentation Case

It was a pretty efficient and thorough process. The main focus from leadership was on my ability to drive growth and revenue, which makes sense since the CEO is heavily involved in sales, meaning I'd be working directly with senior leadership. The VPs were all really nice, and you could tell the team has great chemistry from working together so long. The interview process itself was a bit slow, though. They asked a lot about my existing connections that could potentially bring in sales.
