First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CulverCareers.
Sales Representative
The first phone call was pretty chill and comfortable. They wanted to learn about me and my background in sales. It was nice that they seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me as a person, not just for the job.
- Can you describe the biggest obstacle you've encountered in the sales field?
Recruiter
1 interview with the hiring manager and office manager. Questions included behavioral / situational questions, problem solving. They also want to get an idea of who you are and asks about personal interests.
- How do you assess if a candidate has strong skills and is a good cultural fit for the company?
Business Development Associate
The first step was a really basic screening. They just went over my resume and qualifications. It was pretty thorough but didn't need a lot of prep or deep thinking.
- Can you tell me the main three reasons why you're looking for a job in this area?
Recruiter
I spoke with the recruiter on the phone and we set up an in-person interview. My first meeting was with the Branch Manager. The second meeting, I met the team of recruiters at the office. For the third meeting, I had a phone interview with the COO. The fourth meeting, I met with the VP of Sales. They were looking for someone who was money motivated, green to influence, and not afraid to pick up the phone.
- What is your primary motivator?
