First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cultural Awareness International.
Administrative Assistant
The interviewer was not very pleasant, borderline rude. Unfortunately, it was a poor interview experience, considering I was excited for this opportunity. During the first interview, they said they would follow-up, but I never heard from them again.
- What makes you want this job?
- Can you talk about the gaps on your resume?
CCT
You get one phone interview and then one or two in-person interviews. They seemed to forget what they had already asked, and repeated questions. When asked about their work or to elaborate on the company, they'd just cut you off and say to check the website, which was unhelpful. The interviews were brief and focused on basic questions.
- Can you tell me about your greatest weakness or strength?
Intern
The process was pretty simple. I emailed my resume and got a call to schedule an interview. During the interview I spoke to the CEO and her daughter. They picked apart my resume the whole time and asked me for availability. After leaving feeling really positive, I sent a thank you note to the CEO, she responded saying I should hear back within 10 days and never heard anything again.
- Could you expand on the leadership experience mentioned in your resume?
Global Assignment Coordinator
After applying online, I was invited for an in-person interview. The Manager of Destination Services interviewed me first, and then the owner joined. It was a pretty relaxed atmosphere.
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
- What makes you think you'd be a good fit for this role?
