First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cullen and Dykman.
Attorney
It was a professional interview. The interviewer asked standard legal interview questions about my experience, interests, career goals, and expectations. The interview lasted about 30 to 40 minutes. The interviewer was very upfront and mentioned that they were considering two other strong candidates. They concluded by saying they would let me know their decision either way, which they did, informing me that they had chosen another candidate.
- How would you be an asset to our firm?
Associate Attorney
The interview process was fine, but I didn't get a clear picture of the role even after asking questions. I didn't hear back about my application status, but I did get an offer a month or two later. I had already found another job by then.
- Tell me about your background in insurance defense.
- What experience do you have with insurance defense cases?
Associate
The interview process was smooth and quick. I spoke with two partners from the practice group, and they were very professional. They mentioned a cooperative work environment, which I found attractive.
- What is your level of familiarity with the practice group?
Summer Associate
Interviewed with two partners during OCI. One partner asked most of the questions. They were nice and asked about my personal info and job experience. Got a rejection letter in the mail.
- What did you enjoy most about your summer internship after your first year of law school?
