I had an open interview, then a stage, and was offered the job. I mentioned I was interviewing elsewhere and asked for time. After four days, I called back but couldn't reach the chef. Over the next week, I got excuses for why the chef wasn't available. On the last call, I was told I'd get onboarding paperwork that day, but I never did. The chef or anyone else never contacted me back. I canceled other interviews because I wanted to work for Scrap Kitchen. If a company rescinds an offer or moves on, basic courtesy is expected; the lack of it is a red flag. Dodged a bullet, but the experience left a bad taste, so I probably won't dine at Fox restaurants again.

I applied online and then they had me come in for an interview. After that, I was invited back for a stage, which was unpaid, where I made some money bread. Then I was told the lead baker would be back in three weeks because she was helping to open another store, and I never heard back from them.

There were just two interviews! First, I had a 20-minute chat with one of the managers, which was mostly behavioral questions. Then, I had a second interview with two higher-up managers where they asked more about my experience and availability and told me about the company culture.

The interview was casual, but personal. They are very friendly and all about working as a team. I felt welcomed by staff and manager. The interview was very informative of they expect of you as an employee and they ask you questions that make sure you are a good fit for that position. They will tell you about the company which is very helpful.
