Clerical Assistant
Got 7 questions 10 minutes prior to the interview to look over. It was really helpful and allowed me to get my thoughts organized. I met with 4 great staff members. They all made me feel comfortable and asked pertinent questions.
- Can you describe how you contribute to fostering diversity and inclusion?
Program Coordinator
HR responded to candidates fast. The interview was on Zoom. Communication was good, and the interview started on time. It was professional. The panel members were nice and seemed really interested in being part of the committee.
- What makes you want this job?
Part Time Faculty
They needed a lot of documentation. They also asked for a future course description. The interview itself was about a half hour of questions, followed by a 10 minute demo lecture given to two current staff members. You could pick your own lecture topic or one they suggested. The interviewers were really fair and nice the whole time.
- On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your lecturing abilities, and what steps would you take to improve that score?
Lifeguard
I sent an email to apply. The interview included an in-water part and a behavioral part. The in-water interview had a swimming test, a check of skills, and then a test of theoretical situations. The behavioral interview focused on how I would deal with customers.
- What would you do if you discovered a patron unconscious and you were alone?
