I applied through my school, and the interview process wasn't too hard because of that. Everyone I met was really friendly throughout the whole thing. It's a bummer about Cuberg going out of business the way it did.

It was a three-step interview process. The first two rounds were with a senior engineer or manager and HR. I was given a list of technical questions before each interview and had time to prepare my answers. The final round was with the CEO and two to three other people. I was able to do all the interviews via video calls.

It started with an initial video call with the Hiring Manager. Then, there was a 20-25 day wait for the second and final round. The final round was 2.5 hours long and included a panel interview. This panel interview featured two presentations: one on my project and another on my solution to their assessment. Following the presentations, there were three 1:1 interviews.

The hiring process had two interview rounds with HR and technical management. The company was slow to respond to emails and often late for calls. They also ghosted me after the second interview. The HR phone screen included a take-home assignment that felt like they were seeking free labor to solve business challenges. The actual interview was okay, and the questions were reasonably posed.
