First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CU*Answers.
Account Executive
The interview process was super fast and easy. First up was a quick call to get acquainted and see if I was a good fit. Then, I went in person to chat more about the job and meet the folks I'd be working with. Right after that, they offered me the position, and I got hired the next day!
- How do you handle managing multiple projects simultaneously?
Client Service Representative
I had a good chat with the recruiter at the company, they were really helpful and nice. They even tried to see if other jobs might be a good fit for me, which I appreciated. Then I interviewed with the VP of Client Services and it went really well! I felt pretty relaxed during it. I think this job is a good match for me.
- What are your career aspirations for the next few years?
Collections Specialist
It was a group interview with three managers from different departments asking me questions. There was some inconsistencies involved. A background check was needed. A drug screen was up for debate and the managers also argued about covid protocol.

UI Designer
I applied online and heard back two weeks later for a phone interview. It was pretty standard, they asked about my experience and my portfolio. They said they liked my portfolio and would set up a second interview with the hiring manager. A month went by with no response. I emailed the interviewer for an update and they replied the next day saying the hiring manager didn't like my work and they had moved on weeks ago. I get moving on, but the silence was rude. The job keeps getting reposted, so maybe the hiring manager is just really picky.
- Can you share your experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Jira?
- Could you discuss your portfolio?
- Do you feel you'd be comfortable working in a corporate environment?
