Behavioral Technical Coding Group Presentation

I connected with the recruiter at a career fair. After submitting my resume and applying online, I got a call about two weeks later for an interview on campus. This interview was quite straightforward, mainly behavioral with a few technical trivia questions and a simple brain teaser. Interestingly, the recruiter and a developer conducted this interview together. About one to two weeks after the on-campus interview, I was invited for an onsite interview. The onsite part was unusual as it was a group interview with two other candidates. I wasn't a big fan of this format because I felt candidates influenced each other's answers, and it seemed to hinder the assessment of individual technical skills. The technical question itself was a bit unconventional, asking only for pseudocode, which is not common practice. Following the technical segment, we had lunch, and they presented reasons why we should consider working for the company.

Behavioral Technical Coding Group

I first connected with the recruiter through my University. Then, I had a Skype interview with the recruiter and an analyst. After that, I moved on to a group interview with other potential interns. In this interview, a senior consultant, the office director, and the recruiter talked about the company and asked us personal and technical questions. They asked things like how to write a program to compute the Fibonacci sequence, to describe MVC, and to talk about how the Internet works. I got an offer for the summer internship after the interview. Overall, it was a great experience and I really recommend this company.

The process was great and super fast. First, I had a call with the recruiter for the initial screening. Then, a few days later, I did a phone interview. After that, I went to the office for an in-person interview. The questions were quite technical, but not overly difficult.
