Media Analytics Intern
I met with everyone on the team one after the other. They mostly asked me about my resume and past experiences. The rest of the interview was pretty much behavioral questions.
- Tell me about your biggest weakness.
Marketing Specialist
The interview process took a while and I met with many people across several rounds. It was a good experience overall, not too stressful, but the right amount of pressure. Scheduling was also straightforward.
- What makes you want this job?

I was contacted by a recruiter a few months back for this role. They gave me some good info about the company, the job, and how the interview process works. Then, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. The recruiter told me the manager wanted to call on a Friday afternoon while he was traveling, but I never got the call. After I followed up, the recruiter said the manager was still interested. We finally had the phone interview the following Tuesday, which then led to an in-person interview the next Friday. When I got there, the hiring manager seemed a bit off, saying he was 'banged up' from 'Tequila Thursday.' I wasn't sure if he was fully present during the interview where we discussed the job details, company, and my experience. I didn't get an offer and felt the process lacked professionalism. Maybe it's for the best it didn't work out, though the company did seem interesting.
- Can you describe a particular project you managed and its budget?

I interviewed with a cool agency that seemed to have a fun, smart team. I visited their office twice for group interviews which were conversational and friendly. We talked about my background, my potential role, and typical project workflows. The agency has great clients and does smart, creative work, and I enjoyed getting to know them. Although I was interviewing elsewhere, I ended up taking another opportunity mainly because of the compensation. The offer was significantly lower than my current salary, even though this had been discussed with the recruiter who didn't mention it earlier. When I declined, the recruiter's response was unexpected. She was quite rude, telling me off for turning down the offer and stating I'd never get paid what I was asking for, implying I wasn't worth it. It was a really unpleasant way to end what had been a pleasant experience, which was unfortunate given how nice the agency seemed.
