First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CTIS, Inc..
Executive Assistant
CTIS, Inc was professional from the start. They set up a few team interviews and one in-person interview. During the team interviews, they all asked a few questions and in turn, I was able to ask questions as well. The in-person interview gave me the ability to actually meet those I'd be working with and gave me an understanding of the office dynamics.
- What about our company and mission attracted you?
Analyst
Interviewed, then had two writing samples submitted one after another. Each writing sample took more than four hours to complete. After submitting, I never heard back, even after reaching out via email and phone multiple times over two weeks. It was incredibly unprofessional. I suspect they might have used my submitted work for free labor instead of evaluating my skills. I'm reporting them to my university to get them removed from future job fairs.
- Can you explain your interest in this role?
Programmer Analyst
It was a really welcoming and friendly chat. I talked with a group of people who were part of the hiring team, and they took turns asking me stuff. The questions covered a range from general interview topics to specific examples from my past jobs and how I managed duties before. It wasn't too tough since I felt like I was a good fit for what they needed.
- Can you share an instance where you collaborated with a team to hit a tight deadline, and what was your specific contribution?
- Tell me about your past work experiences.
- How have you handled responsibilities in the past?
Systems Analyst
The interview was long, lasting about 1-2 hours. While they didn't ask very detailed technical questions, it was a casual conversation. They are looking for people who are willing to overcommit and work hard, so be prepared to talk about your experience and your willingness to go the extra mile.
- Can you walk me through a past project you managed, from the initial requirements gathering all the way through to its final delivery?
