They send you a project to do then do a 3 hour interview, promise you they wont ghost and will let you know in 3 days if you got the job, ended up waiting 3 weeks to get anything back from them. The recruiters were friendly and knowledgeable- good vibes all around just wished they would up hold their promise and not having to wait to see next steps.

We had a group interview over Microsoft Teams with HR. It went well, and we each answered questions in turn. It was basic interview stuff, like questions about work and organizational experiences, yourself, strengths and weaknesses, and daily routines. The interviewer was really nice and let us ask questions about the company.

I applied online. The first step was a phone screening with two engineers. They seemed nice but a bit awkward. The next part was a take-home assignment, which they said should take 4-8 hours but gave a week to complete. They said to ask questions, but they didn't reply much, which was annoying. The last stage was a panel interview with several engineers. They asked technical and behavioral questions, and questions about my take-home assignment, and then I did a live coding session. The engineers were friendly again. The phone screen and interview had friendly engineers, but their slow responses made the whole thing less enjoyable. It's a remote company, so you'd expect better communication. HR was also slow to respond, taking ages to get back to me about scheduling, general questions, and more. Because of all this, it was not a good experience.

So, I went through this whole hiring process, it took more than six weeks. It kicked off with a chat with the recruiter, then I had to do this online test, which you could take your time on. After that, there was this long, three-hour interview where the hiring manager talked about the company and all the cool stuff like going to conferences together. Then, I had two panel interviews, one of them was a coding test, and I think I did pretty well, they seemed to like it. Communication was polite, but honestly, it was super disorganized and nobody seemed prepared. The recruiter and the hiring manager seemed to be playing games, and the hiring manager wasn't straight up. Also, the team was not diverse at all. I'm kinda wondering if they ever really wanted to hire someone, especially since the job posting vanished right after my interview. Seriously, don't get fooled by them.
