The first interview I had was a 45 minute video chat group interview with my potential main supervisor and two other people. They had a list of 10-12 questions they asked sequentially, and then it was my turn to ask questions. The people seemed nice. The main issue, and why I can't rate this highly, is the salary. All the job postings online (Indeed, governmentsjobs.com, etc.) listed a salary range I was happy with. But when they called me back for a second interview, which I declined, they told me the actual salary range was about $20,000 less than advertised. The new maximum was barely above the old minimum. While CSUSB seems like a decent place to work, I'd strongly advise confirming the actual salary range during the interview process.
