It was pretty easy and simple. They had a few parts to it. First, there was a quick interview with a group of staff and students. Then, I had an in-person meeting where I spoke with the Director one-on-one, and then I talked with some other people.

The online application process took several months. After being invited to interview, I decided to withdraw my application as I had found a position elsewhere that offered higher pay. The position I applied for was reposted several times and remained unfilled for a significant period, likely due to the low salary offer and the fact that it was non-negotiable.

It was a good process overall. I went through about 4 or 5 interviews online and then had one in-person interview where I needed to prep some answers and bring in some ideas. I liked talking to everyone there; they seemed like a close team and the office had a nice culture. A downside was that you couldn't WFH for the first year.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was intense. It started with a one-on-one chat with another SSP III, like a peer interview. Then, I had to answer hypothetical student emails on the computer. The second interview had three parts, which really surprised me. The first part was a panel where I answered 10 questions from four other SSP IIIs. The second part involved a 10-minute presentation. The third part was another panel, but this time with thirteen people, basically the whole office I was applying to. It was a really intense process.
