Flew in the night before and the whole day was taken up with interviews, flying out the next day. I had to give a research talk and meet with a bunch of different people. The faculty were all pretty engaging and respectful. I got a sense of the institutional politics which I don't think I would have gotten from just a Zoom interview.

So first you'll have a Skype interview with about 6-8 people from the team you'd be working with and related teams. They'll send you the Skype info about a week before. The Skype interview is pretty chill, and their tech is great so you can see and hear everyone fine. The questions were all relevant to the job, nothing tricky. If you get through that, you'll come on-site for an in-person interview. I met most of the panel again for more in-depth questions about my experience, then I met a bigger group of future colleagues. It was a good experience overall and gave me a solid feel for the role.
