HR contacted me to set up an online interview with the manager, which happened within a week. I showed up on time and dressed properly. The manager seemed interested but acted in a way that contradicted their words. During the interview, the manager was unprofessional and brought up gossip from my previous job, and also showed racial discrimination. They didn't ask anything about my resume. I was dismissed quickly because the manager was just being used by people at my old job to be difficult towards me. Just because people at a previous job say bad things about an employee doesn't mean it's true.

Behavioral Group Presentation

The interview process started with a Microsoft Teams interview with the person I would report to directly. This interview went very well overall, lasting about 90 minutes. However, I learned during the conversation that this was his first role in sales and he had only been with CST Industries, Inc. for a few months. He indicated that I would be moving on to the next stage. The second stage was a group panel interview with him and his team of 3 people. This was quite a negative experience, lasting only 30 minutes, which felt like a typo given the time constraints. I knew I was cut off at 32 minutes and suspected they already had someone in mind or had made an offer. My suspicion was correct.

First, I had a phone screen with a staffing agency. Then, I had one interview with the Department Manager and the Controller. They asked general questions about my education, past experience, and why I'm interested in the role. They also asked about my technology experience.
