First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CSSI, Inc..
Technical Analyst
I talked to 2 senior managers. The interview will test your problem-solving skills, coding ability, and knowledge of algorithms. It might have hands-on tasks, coding challenges, or system design questions. You might have to code in real-time with the interviewers.
- Tell me about how you handle pressure.
Network Analyst
After a phone interview, there were two more rounds. The first round lasted about 20-25 minutes, and the second was around 20 minutes. The interview overall was great. The second round interviewer was prepared and asked really good questions. I talked with a few people, some of whom I'd be working with. They did a good job of asking tough questions while still being friendly and professional.
- Can you share an instance where you needed to escalate an issue to your supervisor?
Software Developer
i had an online test with 30 questions to be completed in 30 mins. it covered c#, windows applications, and sql server. the questions were programmatic, asking things like what the output of a query would be, or identifying incorrect syntax. you really need to prepare programmatically. i didn't pass the test, as the cutoff was 14.
- What is the syntax for inserting data into a table?
Aviation Communication Specialist
It was a pretty standard process. I met with the person I would be replacing to check for personality fit, then with a key team member who assessed my data analysis knowledge and skills, and finally with my direct supervisor. After HR did a clearance check, they offered me the job at the salary I asked for.
- Is research the driver of development, or is development the driver of research?
