Software Engineer
So, it was a campus placement, you know? It started with a Pre Placement Talk, and then there were a total of 4 rounds. The first one was a Written Test. It had technical, verbal, and aptitude questions, like 100 objective questions in 90 minutes. Oh, and you had to write an essay on one of 4 topics, which was super important, if you skipped it, you were out. After that was the Communication Round, which was a JAM session. They gave us a topic and we had to speak for a minute. They put us in small groups for this. Then came the Technical Interview, it lasted about 45 minutes. They asked about basic programming concepts, pretty much all the subjects from B.Tech, and one question from each technical subject. They also asked about the latest technologies and what tech Google and Facebook use. Finally, there was the HR Interview, where they asked basic stuff about me, my career goals, and the company. At the end of the day, hearing "Welcome to CSC family" was such a relief!
- Regarding Google and Facebook, what technologies do they employ?
- Could you elaborate on the technologies utilized by Google and Facebook?
Product Developer
I applied through a college portal. The first round was a computer-based test with aptitude, technical, and electronics questions, around 100 questions in total. It was moderately difficult, solvable with basic knowledge. Only those who qualified could proceed to the technical round. The technical round involved questions about my training, a SQL query, array coding, and logical problems (time, calendar). Results for this round were out in 15 minutes. Afterward, there was a short 5-minute HR interview where they asked about my family background, relocation, and general topics. Results were declared the next day. Surprisingly, many candidates were rejected during the HR round.
- Can you share details about your family background and any hobbies you have?
- What about your family background and hobbies?
- Tell me about your family background and hobbies?

I had my interview at the client location, which was ebay. There were 3 rounds in total. The first round involved basic Java questions and coding problems, like counting words and then working with threads. The second round focused on DB queries and more coding problems, specifically seller boat DB queries and reversing a linked list recursively. The third round was a Manager Round where we discussed my previous company, including the project, design diagrams, and my role and responsibilities.
- Count the number of words.
- Then, implement this with threads.
- Do seller boat DB queries.
