Desktop Support Technician
Started with a recruiter screen, then moved on to the client for an interview. Had an in-person interview with one manager and a conference call with another. The process also included a personality test, a drug test, and a background check. Historically, CSC would hire folks through recruiters and they'd become permanent employees in 6-8 months. In my case, I was hired on directly within 5 months.

I had a call with the operational manager, and they invited me to a group interview. A team leader was there too, along with the operational manager. They asked me about my previous jobs and how I deal with different scenarios, specifically with coworkers and customers.
- Regarding your past jobs, did you face tough customer situations and how did you fix them?
- Can you tell me about your previous work experiences?

The interview process involved an assessment center. This included a multiple choice test, a team-based exercise where we had to work together, a phone-skills test where I assisted a customer with building an IKEA chair, and an IT-focused test. Finally, there was an interview. The interviewers were friendly and well-mannered.
