A recruiter reached out in early November about an engineering role at CSAT Solutions and we discussed the job and my background. The hiring team was then going to review. About a week later, she said they wanted to do a phone interview. I confirmed the time and was told I'd get a call, which seemed fine. On interview day, no one called, so I contacted the recruiter. She said there was a phone system issue, so we rescheduled. About a week after that, the recruiter emailed saying she was leaving her firm and gave me the contact for her replacement. The first recruiter was good with updates. I emailed the new recruiter for an update and haven't heard back. The interview was set for mid-November, but after I emailed about rescheduling, I got no response. I was completely ghosted after setting up an interview. It's now mid-January and I still haven't heard anything after trying to reach them. This is a bad way to treat potential hires and find talent.

The phone interviewer was really disorganized, maybe it was his first time interviewing someone. He was 45 minutes late and apologized twice, but it didn't feel sincere. I said it was fine, but he seemed annoyed. He kept checking his watch instead of focusing on the interview and had a dismissive response to everything I said. He said I'd hear back by the end of the day, which didn't happen, and he didn't reply when I thanked him. He also just left me to find my own way out. It was a super frustrating and unprofessional experience. I think I probably avoided a bad situation by not getting hired.

I had an initial interview with the recruiter and then a second interview with the hiring Director. Both interviews went really well, and I actually enjoyed them a lot. I felt like the Director was someone I'd really like working with and for, and I could even imagine taking a different job to work with them. However, even though the Director gave me their direct number and everything went so smoothly, they never got back to me. I was completely ghosted by the company, which was shocking. Because of this, I can't recommend them.

The interview started with a phone call where I had to introduce myself and answer some basic questions about my schooling and major. Then there was a technical interview where we discussed past projects, issues from those projects, and some general computer industry topics, along with a coding problem. They also gave feedback after the interview.
