The Talent Acquisition Manager from CS Energy reached out to me on LinkedIn about the advertised role. I applied, and then they asked me to come in for an interview during work hours. The interview itself was okay, with two relevant stakeholders and the line manager interviewing me. Afterward, the recruiter mentioned I'd hear back in a week about a potential second interview. I didn't hear back at the one-week mark, so I emailed the internal recruiter but got no response. Two weeks later, I emailed again asking for feedback on my interview, but still no reply. Ultimately, I never heard back from them at all, either to say I wasn't successful or to provide any feedback.

I applied online and got sent an assessment which I didn't do great on. Then, the interview process had three main parts. First, I had a call with a Talent Acquisition Person who was really nice and made me even more interested in the job and company. Second, I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager. She seemed kind, professional, and friendly, and I got the impression she'd be a great leader and mentor. The final interview was with the executives on-site. They asked me to confirm my thoughts about the company, and they were super professional, friendly, and open to all my questions. They seem like the kind of professionals you'd want to work with. In the end, I couldn't accept the offer because I need more flexibility with commuting right now, and they required at least three days on-site. However, I still think this place would be a great opportunity for success and growth.

Seriously, don't waste your time applying. This was one of the longest and most inconsiderate interview processes ever. It went like this: Initial phone screen on 6/18/21, then a Zoom interview with the manager on 6/30/21. I submitted my assessment on 7/04/21. I had to ask for a follow up on 7/15/21, and then again on 8/05/21 and 8/24/21. The final interview with two employees was on 7/22/21. To this day (9/16/21), no word. The HR rep said they'd have news by the end of the week of Aug 5th. Over two weeks later, they said they'd get me feedback but the position was still open. So, they interviewed a bunch of people and didn't find anyone good enough? Like another review said, this company really needs to be more considerate of candidates' time. Not getting feedback is unacceptable. I can't believe this place is supposed to be a top employer when they don't even respect potential employees.

The interview process was a bit hectic, and I felt discouraged by how I was treated. After my third interview, I followed up via email and phone but received no response. I even had to follow up on my availability for the third interview. This isn't about the company, but candidates who spend hours preparing should get a response from HR. Lack of communication hurts the company. The interviews were: 1st - Phone, 2nd - Video Call, 3rd - Video Call.
