Financial Crime Analyst
Applied 3 times for similar roles and it's been a total waste of time. Each time I reach stage 2 or 3, they say they're 'favoring a better fit' without giving any useful feedback. The last interview was particularly odd, with two interviewers who weren't very funny or likable. The Bulgarian team lead seemed uncomfortable, like they were being forced to be there. The recruiter also falsely claimed there were no layoffs in compliance, when in fact, there have been some cuts in that department for budget reasons. It's important to be truthful, especially when interviewing people who work in investigations and deal with other investigators.
- What feedback would your past manager give about your performance?
- If you were a color, which one would you choose to represent yourself?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
KYC Analyst
First, I had a phone interview with HR. Then, I had an online interview with management. Finally, I got an offer after a phone call to finalize details.
- Tell me about your experience with management.
- Have you ever had conflicts with management, and how did you handle them?
- How do you assess management decisions?
AML Analyst
It's a pretty long interview process, but if you're the right fit, you'll make it. It's a mix of technical and cultural fit. I'd say go for it if you're interested, but the required skills are quite advanced.
- Can you walk me through a past investigation you conducted?
