Sales Representative
The interview process was really nice and everyone was super kind, not stressful at all. I made it through the first round but didn't get past the second round because they asked if I was alright with doing the job remotely.
- What is your motivation for pursuing a career in sales?
- Would you be comfortable performing this role remotely?
Software Engineer
So I was reached out to by a recruiter from CrunchTime who was super nice and walked me through their interview process. It sounded like quite a bit, 7 interviews in total. The first chat was with the hiring manager, and it was basically just a conversation, and I think it went pretty well. I got good vibes and positive feedback throughout. After that, I had a technical interview with two developers. They hit me with some standard coding questions. But then, the very next day, they told me they’d found someone who was a better fit and wouldn't be moving forward, which was a bummer after all the good feedback. Honestly, I can't really recommend interviewing with them. It seems like they might not be great at evaluating senior folks or maybe aren't upfront about their feedback.
- Can you code a solution to identify a Palindrome?
- Can you code a solution to get the first n Fibonacci numbers?
Solutions Specialist
I applied through their website and got contacted about 4 days later (counting the weekend days). I received an invitation to schedule a meeting on a website but the actual interview is through zoom. Once I had the interview, the recruiter said I would know within the next day if I would move on. The recruiter didn't seem too comfortable with her role. She said she would put my information in the system so maybe that meant for a denial. I received the denial two days later despite having experience in implementation and experience with software configuration as mentioned in their ad. Their loss. (Also the expected budget for this position starts at 60k)
- Tell me about why you are interested in working here.
- Can you share your experience with creating customer instructional materials, possibly related to enhancements?
- Have you provided training to customers before?
Technical Support Engineer
Recruiter was late and I had to call them directly. They gave some reasons and then wanted a video call even though the email said phone interview. They also didn’t have my resume, which shows I learn new technology quickly. They asked if I have SQL experience, but it’s on my resume. The job description says I have all the preferred qualifications except one. The recruiter explained they’re only looking for someone to be an expert in another SQL language, but also looking to hire someone who wants to learn that other SQL language. Again, see resume. This was a waste of my time.
- What makes you want to leave your current company
- Do you have experience with SQL
- Are you interested in becoming an expert in a different SQL language
