Recruitment Manager
I went through the recruiter interview and hiring manager interview - basic questions - engaging team - great follow-up and feedback provided - sounds like a great team and great culture
- Can you tell me about your overall experience?

I had an initial phone chat with a recruiter. They really sold me on Crunchbase, their future plans, and how this role could help me grow personally and professionally. They asked about metrics, but I didn't have them since my current company doesn't track them. I even mentioned how tracking metrics would help with accountability. I was glad to move on to the next interview, which was on Zoom and way more chill. I prepped some metrics just in case, and when I brought it up, they said it was great I had them but not required. A few days later, I got a rejection email with zero explanation. It was a bummer to get ghosted by a company I liked, especially after asking for feedback when they emphasize transparency.
- What are you passionate about?
Recruiter
The interview process began positively. I had a phone screen, then a video interview with a Senior Recruiter, followed by a 3-4 hour virtual "onsite" interview. The recruiting team did a good job preparing me and scheduling interviews promptly. After the onsite, I was told I'd hear about a potential offer within a week. When I didn't, I followed up. The recruiter said she didn't have an update but assured me I was a top candidate and asked to follow up the next week. I had to chase again. The recruiter gave another excuse, saying she was waiting for leadership. I eventually gave up, and they sent a generic rejection email a month after the final interview. They should practice what they preach (one of their values is "Be Open" – generous and courageous in giving/receiving feedback). Provide final interview candidates with helpful feedback and don't leave them hanging in this competitive job market.
- Questions focused on the company's values.
