Other

The interview process was unprofessional and unethical, with no proper procedures before or after. I was asked to leave by HR before the interview even started. The staff had a poor attitude and acted unprofessionally, with high egos and no room for give-and-take. The team needs improvement for proper interviews.

The interview process was quick and professional. I have no complaints; it was a good experience. I would recommend this to others. There are many opportunities for interns and freshers in different departments. I personally applied for front desk clerk, waiter, housekeeping, and human resources intern roles.

I applied online and uploaded my resume. After almost a month, the hotel restaurant manager called to set up an in-person interview. I arrived early, but the manager was late due to an off-site errand. After waiting 45 minutes, I was offered a drink. Servers arrived to set up, and I complimented the decor. The manager finally arrived an hour late, explaining he was in court fighting an ex-employee's unemployment claim, which I found unprofessional. He then stated he had to reschedule because he got stuck doing a wine tasting and opening bottles. I joked about helping, and he rudely said he needed a professional, which offended me. He offered me breakfast despite it being 11:30 AM. I declined, and he rushed off, promising to call later to reschedule, which he never did. I wouldn't have rescheduled anyway due to his unprofessional behavior.

I applied online and then got a call from the company a few days later. They asked if we could do a quick telephone interview, which was mostly admin stuff like checking my right to work and availability. Then I had a face-to-face interview a few days after that, where I had about half an hour to answer two pages of competence-based questions on paper. The interviewer wasn't there for that part. Then he came and we sat down in the restaurant for about half an hour, but he mostly just gave me information. After that, I had to come back two days later for a third interview with a different person which only lasted about 10 minutes, just quick-fire typical interview questions. They rang me the next day and offered me the job, which was great!
