Talent Acquisition Manager
The head of HR emailed me after I applied to ask about my salary expectations. He said this was important before we spoke. He then said he would share their salary after I stated I was flexible and asked what they were looking for. We then had an hour-long call where he asked some prepared questions and then asked about salary again. After not hearing anything for a week, I got an automated email saying they weren't moving forward. I emailed the interviewer for feedback but never heard back, which is funny considering how fast he was to ask non-interview related questions at the start.
- What is your desired salary?
- What do you think about this position being remote and then in Burbank?
- What kinds of positions do you work on?
Development Manager
The interview process was pretty smooth and they kept me in the loop. It took about a month in total. There were four main stages: first a recruiter chat, then two interviews with VPs, then one with an SVP, and I also had to do a creative assessment.
- We often had flowing conversations about your past work experience.
- We discussed your expectations for the job.
- We talked about the company culture.
Executive Assistant
I applied online and a recruiter reached out. I had an interview with the recruiter and the hiring manager. They seemed nice, and the interview was pretty easy, but then I never heard back. It would be good if they sent a rejection email.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- What are your typical job duties?
- What are your salary expectations?
Internship
The staff was really friendly and nice, making the interview process feel easy. It's a good idea to be friendly too and ready to promote yourself.
- Can you share your experience in Public Relations?
- Do you have any other general writing experience to discuss?
- What is your GPA?
