First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Crown Automotive Group (Florida).
Service Concierge
It was a super quick and easy process with three interviews. First, I met with the service manager, then the corporate buyer, and finally, the general manager at the dealership. I had to provide references and complete an online evaluation, but they didn't share the results with me.
- Were there questions asked that weren't relevant to the interview?
Sales Representative
The interview process was really smooth and thorough. It's a bit less intense now that I'm part of the team. I spoke with 3 different managers, and the interviews lasted about 6 hours in total. Each manager's interview was different, and no one asked me the same questions. This really helped me understand their individual management styles.
- What are your career aspirations for this role?
Sales Associate
I applied for a job at the location, and they offered me a position right away, as long as I passed a drug test. The interview process was very fast and easy. You can pretty much walk in and get a job within a few minutes.
- How do you overcome objections from customers?
Sales Manager
Looking at most crown dealerships, you'll see hardly any women working there, and basically none in management. It's pretty clear I won't get a job offer. It seems like interviews for women are just to check a box for HR, and then they give the jobs to less qualified male salespeople who get promoted right away.
