The hiring process for this middle management sales role took about six weeks. I had to follow up multiple times to get updates on my application, even though the hiring manager knew me from a previous job. It was quite a lengthy process.

Behavioral

A recruiter from Crowdstrike reached out about a sales role. They seemed happy with my background and suggested a meeting with the hiring manager, but that was about 6 months ago. I found it strange that the recruiter went silent, especially since they initiated contact. After several follow-ups, and after I mentioned I had another offer from a competitor, the recruiter finally responded, saying the role was on hold but advised me not to accept the other offer as it might open up. I haven't heard anything since. While I think Crowdstrike is a great company and product, the recruitment process has been disappointing. It seems like many others have had similar negative experiences based on Glassdoor reviews. The recruiter's lack of communication has caused me to decline other offers in hopes of this role, which is a tough lesson learned.
