SDR Manager
The process is pretty structured and they give you feedback at every step. First, there's one call with HR, then one call with the Hiring Manager, and finally, a call where you present to a Panel with various managers.
- Can you give a brief pitch about something?
- What's your motivation for seeking a new job?
- Describe how you'd motivate an employee who isn't performing well.
Sales Development Representative
Had 3 interview rounds. A current employee referred me, but it took the recruiter a whole month to respond for the initial interview, which was a bad start. I did make it to the final round, but the overall experience was terrible. The Regional Latam Hiring Manager was 20 minutes late for our virtual interview and was interviewing from a plane before takeoff. She seemed bothered and stressed, totally disengaged. I had already done a mock sales call in a previous round, but she insisted I do another one on the spot and didn't allow time for me to ask questions at the end.
- What action would you take if an AE or Executive team member failed to follow up with a prospect you qualified?
Sales Development Representative
I applied to this Sales Development Representative role through a referral and heard back about a week later for an interview at their Austin office. The whole process lasted just over a month. Everyone I interacted with was really nice and smart. The interview process flowed really well and HR was pretty good at getting back to emails. They sometimes called and emailed outside of regular work hours, but that was fine with me. First, I had a phone call with HR. It was a standard get-to-know-you type of chat where I talked about my interests. Next, I had a phone interview with a manager, which was a bit more in-depth with lots of situational questions. The final interview had two parts, both over Zoom. First, I talked with 2-3 team members. This felt a bit more casual, with some easy situational questions and some questions to get to know me better. The second part was a presentation where I had to pitch the CrowdStrike product to 3 members of the sales team. They provided all the necessary information for the presentation. If you research the product and practice the presentation a good amount, you should be good.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Why are you interested in sales?
- What traits or skills are essential for success in sales?
