HR set up the first interview, which was a video call with the clinic manager and the manager of all the sites. After that, I got a call to come in for an in-person meeting with the team. Not long after that visit, I got an offer.

Expect 4+ rounds. First, a quick screening call with the recruiter. Then, a hiring manager interview a couple days later. They said they were looking to hire before EOY and would be in touch within a few days. But the recruiter ghosted and didn't respond to follow-up emails. Please be more transparent and stop wasting candidates time.

Presentation Behavioral

My interview experience was really bad. I completed two of the three interviews for the job. For the last one (interview 3), a panel member didn't show up. This interview stage requires candidates to make a slide presentation about how they'd handle a made-up service expansion. After that, I had to follow up with the recruiter twice and only got an automated reply saying I wasn't being considered. I sent one last email asking for feedback on the interview and why they made the decision, but Crossover never responded.

Technical Coding

So the process kicked off really well. I chatted with the Hiring Manager for about 45 minutes, then with some of the engineers on the team for another 45 minutes. I thought those interviews went great, and then they sent over a simple code review exercise to do in a Google Doc. I did it, and honestly, it's the coolest idea I've seen for a tech screening. But that's where the good part stopped. A code review could be a really awesome way to give a candidate some useful feedback for their time and effort. Instead, they just completely dropped the ball. After spending over 2 hours on interviews and the screening, I got zero feedback. Not even a quick email saying they weren't moving forward. I kept pushing for three weeks, trying to get a response, but they just ghosted me and the recruiter we were working with.
