Inside Sales Representative
i was shortlisted for a pre-interview assessment even though i only have 4 years of experience. when i started the basic fit check, i indicated i didn't have the required 5 years of experience and was immediately rejected. it doesn't make sense to be shortlisted for an assessment if i don't meet the minimum requirement. also, the company's contact details are not available.
- Do you possess five years of experience?
Inside Sales Representative
I just got this online assessment, no phone calls, which is a total waste of time for someone with my experience. I've been in sales for over 25 years and I'm really good at sales because of my people skills, not some silly online test that someone else could do for me. This popped up as a recommended job, but I've flagged it to ignore.
- The online assessment involved questions about random numbers, patterns, filling in blanks, and word meanings, which felt like a waste of time.
Inside Sales Representative
Don't bother applying. Seriously. These roles don't exist. I invested quite some time filling in their online forms, completing some online tests and submitting voice and video recordings. They mention you will hear back from them within 48 hours or so but you won't. Then after chasing them via email I was told my application was still under review. Then 3 months after my application I received an apologetic email saying the position is temporarily on hold until next year, absolute joke. I'm also not the only one reading through the other interview questions. If you ask people to invest time for roles then the decent thing to do is at least give some feedback and be transparent about the actual prospects.
- Can you tell me about your previous sales experience?
- What are your average deal sizes?
- What are your sales quotas?
