I had 3 phone interviews with the managers in California. They were nice and professional conversations. Very casual and informative. I spoke with Justin and France and both were very transparent about the job requirements, except for one thing. Cannabis is legal in many states, including CA, but they don't hire cannabis users. They did not mention anything about it on the job add and during the interviews. I wasted about two weeks on the interview process to find out I could not get the job because I tested + for marijuana. The company should state "no cannabis users" on the job add to prevent applicants from wasting their time.

It was a really thorough interview process, actually pretty long. Started with a phone call, then we did an online meeting via Teams or Zoom, followed by an in-person interview, and then I went on a ride along to see a job site.

I had a phone interview first, then I went to the office to meet the boss. We talked about what my job duties would be. He asked if I saw myself doing this long-term, and I said yes. He said he'd think about it. He called me that evening with an offer.
