Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Critical Mass.
Marketing Analyst
The interview process involved 3 rounds: a phone screen, a video interview, and a case study. The people at the company, including HR, were very cooperative and friendly, always willing to accommodate reasonable requests and making me feel comfortable throughout.
- Were there any behavioral questions asked?
- Were there any analytical questions?
Market Research Analyst
The first HR scheduled a phone screen but didn't call. The second HR reached out after about 3 weeks and scheduled another phone screen, which lasted about 30 minutes. Then, I was invited to an interview with the team where I had to prepare a presentation in advance. I didn't get an offer, but I did get feedback on why another candidate was chosen, which was helpful.
- Can you tell me why you are leaving your current job?
- Could you describe a difficult situation you faced at work?
- What are your future goals?
Market Research
The whole process took about two months from the initial contact to the final interview. Communication was really poor throughout; nobody got back to me after my last in-person meeting with senior management. It's been two months now, so I'm assuming I didn't get the job, but honestly, after making it that far, you expect some kind of follow-up, good or bad. Given how the interaction with CM went, I'm actually glad I didn't get the job.
- Can you share your previous work experience?
- Do you have any behavioral questions for us?
